Gene Davis

      Services for Gene A. Davis, 44, 3135 S. lack Cat Rad, Meridian, who died Wednesday, an. 11, at a Boise hospital of natural causes will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
      L.B. Harris of Wilder will officiate.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
      He was born March 30, 1939, at Willow Springs MO., to Linzie M. and Gertrude Johnson Davis.  He was raised at Willow Springs and came to Idaho in 1961, where he had operated a dairy near Meridian for the past 22 years.
      He was a member of the Idaho Dairymen's Association, the Dairymen's Creamery Association, and the Baptist Church.
      He is survived by his mother, Gertie Davis of Caldwell; two sons, J.R. Davis of Meridian and Darwin Davis, also Meridian; one daughter, Deana Davis of Boise; four brothers, Ray Davis of Meridian, Earl and Junior Davis, both of Caldwell, and Dennis Davis of Notus; six neices and five nephews.
      He was preceded in death by his father in November of 1983.
      Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Instutite, in care of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386 Caldwell, 83606.
