Hazel Caywood

     Hazel June Caywood, 90, of Boise, and formerly of Nampa, died Friday, March 15, 1991, in a Boise care center.
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Father Milt Holmes of the Nampa Grace Episcopal Church will officiate.  Private family burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Hazel was born June 17, 1900, at Zillah, Wash., a daughter of Owen and Carrie Whitson.  At a young age she moved to Idaho with her family, and was reared and educated in Filer and Nampa.  She married Walter Caywood Oct. 14, 1918, at Caldwell.  They later moved to Colorado where they lived for many years and raised their family.  In 1944 they moved to Mountain Home where they lived and worked for seven years.  They then moved to Nampa, and later to Boise, where they had since made their home.
     She was a member of Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 24, Nampa.
     Survivors include her husband, Walter of Boise; a son and daughter- in-law, Alfred and Dorothy Caywood of Hemet, Calif.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bettie and Del Quail of Ukiah, Calif., and Barbara and Art Agnew of Hemet; a sister, Julia La Vallee of Boise; 13 grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
     She was preceded in death by a son, Robert; three sisters; and a brother.
     Friends may call today until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
