Woody Behrens

    Harold W. "Woody" Behrens, 73, of Caldwell, died Friday, July 29, 1994, at a Boise hospital.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug 2, 1994, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Pastor John Blake of the Sand Hollow Baptist Church will officiate.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
    Woody was born Dec. 29, 1920, at Yutan, Nebraska, a son of Harry and Laverne McDermitt Behrens.  He was reared and educated in Nebraska and moved to Oregon as a young man where he completed his education.  Woody served with the U.S. Army during WW II in the Pacific theater.  Following his military service, he returned to the Boise Valley.  Prior to his retirement, Woody worked in farming and as a heavy equipment operator.
    He is survived by a sister, Alberta White of Gering, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Lee and Glen.
    Friends may call today from 1 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
