Cerebral Meningitis Claims
Ira Brumback at School
in Alaska

     Funeral services for Ira Brumback were held Monday morning at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Parma with the Rev. Father McIlkerney, Nampa, officiating.  Mr. Brumback died of cerebral meningitis January 10, in Fairbanks, Alaska.  The body was brought from the inland of Alsaka by Joe Brumback, brother of the deceased, and arrived in parma Saturday afternoon.
     Brumback was attending the government school at Fairbanks, where he was taking a special course in mining engineering not offered in the states.  He was a graduate of the Parma high school in 1926.  Since that year he has been furthering his education.
     Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Brumbach, prominent residents in the Parma and Big Bend districts, and a brother, Joe Brumback.
