Jossie Lacer

     Services for Jossie B. Lacer, 83, of Caldwell Route 10, who died Monday, March 14, of natural causes at home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Don Baldwin of the Followers of Christ Church, Caldwell.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     She was born Oct. 11, 1899, at Winter in O.T. Major County, Okla., to John and Belle Lemmons.  She married Clarence H. Lacer on Sept. 14, 1918 at Buffalo
, Okla.  They resided around Rosston, Okla., until 1940 when they moved to Caldwell, where they have since resided.  She was a member of the Followers of Christ Church for the past 70 years.
     She is survived by four sons, Frank Lacer of Jordan Valley, Ore., Clarence Lacer Jr. of Caldwell, Harvey Tearl Lacer of Grants Pass, Ore., and Raymond Lacer of Caldwell; four daughters, Alva Bottoms of Caldwell, Mabel Campbell of Kodaka, S.D., Anna Bell Randolph of Caldwell, and Ilene Milburn of Caldwell; six sisters, Jessie Harrell, Margaretta Radtke, Mary Wise, Artie Burris, Lucy Walker and Martha Ludlum; three brothers, Tom Lemmons, Marion Lemmons and Jim Lemmons; 50 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
     She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Louiza Berends; one sister; three brothers and five grandchildren.
     Friends may call at the Dakan Chapel today from 5 to 8 p.m.
