Joanne Darlene Branstetter

     Joanne Darlene Branstetter, 48, of Boise, went to be with her Heavenly Father and her home in Heaven on October 23, 1996.  She died in a Boise hospital following a long and valiant struggle with a difficult, persistent illness.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, 1996, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.  Pastor Robert L. Miller of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  A private family graveside will follow the services at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Joanne Darlene Branstetter was born on July 25, 1948, in Nampa.  She graduated from Nampa High School in 1966 and attended NNC and BSU.  She worked at Consumers Grocery in Nampa, Silver Wheels Freight Line and at Cigna-Medicare in Boise for nine years.  Her hobbies included: count cross stitching, flowers and gardening.
     Her sense of humor and positive attitude will be greatly missed by her mother, Leone Branstetter, Nampa; her father, William “Bill” Branstetter and his wife, Neva of Nampa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and Mike Coleman, Boise and Noella and Larry Thomas, Nampa; a niece, Dana Osborne, Meridian; a nephew, Sean Osborne, Boise; many friends, co-workers and relatives.
     Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon.
     The family suggests memorial contributions to a favorite charity, or flowers may be sent.
     The family thanks; the staff at St. Alphonsus Hospital as well as the staff at Treasure Valley Sub Acute Center, for the care given during Joanne’s extended stays.  We also thank her extended family at Cigna for all their support during their employment.
