Funeral services for John Woodrow Coble, 69, of 129 Davis
Ave., Nampa, who died Wednesday in a Nampa hospital, will be
conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel
with the Rev. E. Paul Riedel, pastor of the Zion Lutheran
Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born Nov. 27, 1912 at Meridian, where he was
reared and educated. He married Olga Schaefer on Aug.
15, 1937 at Nampa where they made their home. He began
working for the P.F.E. Shops in Nampa in 1937 and retired in
1974 as a carman.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; a son, Johnny W.
Coble, Rupert; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Brattin,
Nampa; a brother, Chester Coble, Reno, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs.
James (Mary) Shaw, Bangor, Penn., and Mrs. Wesley (Irene) Fry,
Boise; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was
preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be given to the Mercy Medical Center
Hospice Program, 1512 12th Ave. R., Nampa 83651.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from
5 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. |
