James Brown

     Services for James Marshall Brown, 66, of 1320 W. Flamingo, Nampa, who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Orval Halley, pastor, officiating.
     Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     He was born Dec. 31, 1916, at Butler, Mo.  At an early age, he moved with his family to Douglas
, Wyo., where he was reared and educated.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1935 to 1937.
     He married Anna Myrtle Sutterfield from Mitchell, Neb., on Oct. 28, 1939, at Lusk, Wyo.  They made their home in several western states until he retired in 1977 and they moved to Nampa.    He worked as a carpenter for many years.  He was a member of the Fairview Church of the Nazarene.
     He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two sons, Melvin J. Brown, Santa Maria, Calif., and Jerry L. Brown, Powell, Wyo.; one brother, Archie Brown, Auburn, Wash.; four sisters, Ethel Viers, Ontario, Ore., Velma Randolph, Salem, Ore., Gladys Foster, DeKalb, Ill., and Edith Koepnick, Jerome, Idaho; and four grandchildren.
     Memorials may be made to the Fairview Church of the Nazarene, 516 Fairview Ave., Nampa, 83651.
