funeral services for James T. "Ted" Ferguson, 43, of Caldwell,
who died on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Caldwell hospital of
natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7,
at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. A.J.
"Butch" Bosworth, a cousin of Ted's will officiate with
military honors by the Nampa V.F.W. Post No. 3465.
Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Services are
under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mr. Ferguson was born Dec. 26, 1946, at Nampa, where he was
reared and graduated from high school in 1965. He served
in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War having served as as
machinist aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk. Following his
honorable discharge in 1969 he continued his military service
in the U.S. Naval Reserve until March of this year. He
made his home in Nampa until recently moving to Caldwell.
He worked as a carpenter in the Caldwell area.
Ted is survived by two daughters, Dana Mather and Cynthia
Fuqua, both of Nampa; his mother, Juanita M. Ferguson,
Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Robert N. Ferguson, Long Beach,
Wash.; a sister, Betty J. Conkle, Vancouver, Wash.; two
grandchildren; and a very close friend, Patricia Burtch,
He was preceded in death by his father, Beryl T. Ferguson
June 19, 1972.
