Juanita Ferguson |
Juanita Marie
Ferguson, 79, of Vancouver, Washington and formerly of Nampa,
passed away Sept. 1, 1995, after a short illness and surgery
in a Portland, Oregon, hospital. Graveside Funeral
services will conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Her family will
conduct the services. Arrangements are under the
direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Juanita was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Missouri to James E. and
Inez Marie Pullin. She married Beryl T. Ferguson in
Missouri. They moved to Idaho, arriving in Twin Falls in
1938, along with their baby daughter Betty Jean. They
were soon joined by a second child Robert Nelson "Bob" and a
third child James T. "Ted".
After her husband's death she moved to Long Beach,
Washington, to be near her children and then later she moved
to Vancouver to be near her daughter.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Conkle of
Vancouver, WA; a son, Bob and his wife Phyllis of Long Beach,
WA; a sister-in-law, Mildred Pullin of Nampa; a
brother-in-law, Charlie N. Ferguson of Thayer, KS; five
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her
husband Beryl in 1972, a son Ted in 1990, and a brother Roland
Pullin.
Memorials may be made to the Women of the Moose, P.O. Box
788, Nampa, Id 83653, or to a charity of choice.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the
Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. |
