Services for Kenneth
E. Bledsoe, 61, of Nampa, who died Friday, May 16, at home of
natural causes, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at
the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Rev. Donn Mogford of
the Berean Baptist Church, Nampa, will officiate. Burial
will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Mr. Bledsoe, a retired businessman, was born March 22,
1925, at Stahl, Mo., to Lee and Ethel Sharp Bledsoe. He
received his education in the Morelock, Mor., school system.
He later took courses at Boise State after moving to Idaho.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on Jan. 1, 1944, serving with the
armed guard in the Pacific Theater.
In February of 1946 he was honorably discharged, then
married Patricia Cooley at Waterloo, Iowa. He worked
there for Rath Packing Co. and Waterloo Concrete Co. The
family later moved to the Boise Valley and he worked for a
short time at Boise Valley Packing Co. and Kings Packing Co.
