services for Luita B. Dick, 80, of 1203 Beechwood, Boise, who
died Thursday, Jan. 27, at home of natural causes, will be
conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Nampa, by Pastor Dale Metzger of Collister Methodist Church
under the direction of Summers Funeral Home.
She was born April 11, 1902, in Eldorado, Kan, She taught
school at a little country school outside of Meridian prior to
her marriage in Mountain Home. After they married, they farmed
in Meridian until 1939 when they moved to Nampa. While her
husband was employed by Union Pacific Railroad, she owned and
operated "Dick's Mum Gardens." She moved to Boise about six

Pleasonton, Calif., and Alvin T. Dick of Boise; five
grandchildren; and l0 great-grandchildren.
