Louis Chaney

     NAMPA - Services for Louis Chaney, 64, 515 Holly Ave., Nampa, who died Thursday in Portland of natural causes, will be conducted at 11 a.. Wednesday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, by Rev. Bruce D. Webb. Northwest Nazarene College.  Private entombment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
     He was born March 17, 1912, at Gila Bend, Ariz., and was reared and educated in Ariz., and was reared and educated in Arizona.  he later moved to California and served in the Army during World War II.  He married Katie E. Brum, Dec. 24, 1944, in Fresno, Calif.  They lived there until he retired.  They moved to Nampa in 1960.
     He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post, Redlands, Calif.
     Surviving are his wife, Nampa; a stepson, Emil Schanbeck, Nampa; a son, Gordon R. Chaney, Boise; three daughters, Ella Chaney, San Clemente, Calif., Kathy Wahlstrom, Rialto, Calif., and Doris Jackson, Rolling Hills, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
