Lois May Gaffney

     Services for Mrs. Lois May Gaffney, 32, of 311 Garland, Nampa, who died in a Nampa hospital on March 17, will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Alsip Chapel. The Rev. C.C. Smith of the Bethel Nazarene Church, Nampa, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. George Briggs and the Rev. Don McBride. Interment will be at the Garden of Communion at Hillcrest.
     Mrs. Gaffney was born March 26, 1932 at Ft. Morgan, Colo., and came to the Riverside Community with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Townsend, in December, 1939. She attended Riverside
grade school, Marsing High School, and Northwest Nazarene College. She was married to John Edward Gaffney in 1953 at Marsing. The couple came to Nampa in that year, where she had since made her home.

62.
     Mrs. Gaffney was a member of the Bethel
Nazarene Church and died following an extended illness.
     She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Gaffney, Nampa; her father, Albert F. Townsend, Caldwell Route 4; 4 brothers, Clifford Townsend, Denver, Colo., Julius Townsend, Bellingham, Wash., and Veldon and Eldon Townsend, both of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Scrivner, Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Myrtle Hale, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, South America. She was preceded in death by two children and her mother.
