Leona O. Tucker
O. Tucker, 82, passed away Friday evening, March 3, 2006 after
a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in
Emmett, Idaho and lived in Meridian, Idaho most of her adult
life. She moved to Salem, Ore. four years ago. She taught
school for 49, most of that time was spent teaching seventh
grade language arts in the Meridian School District.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, L.W. Tucker;
parents, Charles and Olive Timson; and brothers, Benjamin
Timson and Herbert Timson. Survivors include son, Charles
Tucker of Boise, Idaho; daughter and son-in-law, Mona and
Wayne Breach of Salem, Ore.; sisters, Violet Gardner and
Genevieve Bourget; seven grandsons; and many nieces and
No service is planned at this time. Private graveside service
will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by
Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
