Lester Arehart |
Rosary will be recited
for Lester R. (Joe) Arehart, 66, of Nampa, who died Wednesday,
July 2, at his home of natural causes, will be recited at 8
p.m. Monday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa. The Rev.
George Fahey, S.M., will be the celebrant, and burial will
follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Arehart, a retired warehouseman, was born Dec. 14,
1919, in Loretto, Neb., to Henry D. and Rose L. Penney Arehart.
He was reared and educated in Nebraska.
He married Rosalia F. Schmidt on June 19, 1943, in
Belleville, Kan., and they made their home and farmed in
central Nebraska until moving to Nampa in March 1960.
He was a warehouseman for Termicold Corporation until
his retirement in 1975 due to ill health.
He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two daughters,
Carol J. Carroll and Mary Jo Ames, both of Nampa; two sons,
LeRoy R. Arehart of Napa and Terry J. Arehart of Boise; a
sister, Ethel Jacobson of Riverdale, Neb.; two brothers, Elmer
W. Arehart of Mason City, Neb., and Harold D. Arehart of
Spearfish, S.D.; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren;
one great-granddaughter; two step-great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother, Leonard.
Friends may call at Flahiff Chapel, Nampa, from 1 p.m.
to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and until 10:30
a.m. on Tuesday |
