Lee Christensen

     Graveside services for Lee Christensen, 68, of Caldwell, who died Sunday, Nov 22, at home, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Bishop Wayne O. Peterson of the 18th Ward Boise West Stake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Friends may meet at the cemetery.
     Mr. Christensen was born Dec. 13, 1918, at Tetonia to Nels P. and Lucy Ricks Christensen.  He was reared and educated in Tetonia and Caldwell.
     He married Minerva Ruth Warner Sept. 6, 1937, at Tetonia.  They moved to Caldwell following their marriage.
     He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a flight cadet during Word War II.
     Together with his brother he established Christensen Motor Co. in Caldwell and had since worked as an auto body repairman and mechanic.
     His wife died Sept. 6, 1971, at Caldwell.
     He was a member of the LDS Church and a former member of Elks Lodge No. 1448, Caldwell.
     He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dorian L. and Evelyn Christensen of Caldwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Arnold Pedersen of Boise; a brother, Roy Christensen of Rexburg, four sisters, Erma Leuck of Eugene, Ore., Berniece Peterson of Rexburg, Marie Anderson of Orem, Utah, and Lila Edison of Tumtum, Wash.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
     The family will greet friends tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Caldwell Flahiff chapel.  Friends may also call Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
