Linzie Davis

      Services for Linzie M. Davis, 76, Caldwell Route 8, who died Sunday, Nov. 13, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Al B. Harris of Wilder.
      Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
      He was born Sept. 3, 1907, at Willow springs, Mo., where he was reared and educated.  He married Gertrude Johnson on Aug. 5, 1925, at Willow Springs.  He worked in the timber industry in Missouri before moving to the Caldwell area in 1942, where he farmed.  They returned to Missouri in 1946, where they resided before moving back to Caldwell in 1956, where they have since resided.  He was a member of the Missionary Baptist church, Parma.
            He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; five sons, Ray of Meridian, Earl and Junior, both of Caldwell, Gene of Nampa and Dennis of Notus; four brothers, Theodore, Willis Russell and Lou, all of Willow Springs; one sister, Lace Collins of Willow Spring; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
      He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
      Friends may call at the chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m.
      Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, Boise.
