Milton Chester Harris
Milton Chester Harris,
68, of 516 Maple St., Nampa, died Sunday afternoon at a Nampa
hospital following a sex week illness. Mr. Harris was
born May 6, 1890, at Salem, Idaho, and married Bertha R. Jones
at St. Anthony on Oct. 30, 1913.
The couple moved to the Boise Valley in 1934 and farmed
near Wilder and Homedale until his retirement in 1955, when
they moved to Nampa where they since resided. He was a
member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Harris of
Nampa; five sons, Lyle Harris, Caldwell Max Harris,
Heppner, Ore., Boyd Harris of Salt Lake, City, Utah, Rich
Harris, Boise, and Dee Harris of Nampa; three daughters,
Mrs. Mary Beth Larkin of Lacrosse, Wash., Mrs. Betty Rawlins
and Mrs. Treva Jean Rasmussen, both of Boise; 26
grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; a brother,
Charley Harris of Dubois, Idaho; five sisters, Mrs.
Annie Martinson, Idaho Falls, Mrs. Myrtle Rappleye, Nampa,
Mrs. Lorena Prinn, Seattle, Wash., Miss Beatrice Harris and
Mrs. Genevieve Graves, both of Long Beach, Calif.
Arrangements are pending at the Dickard-Edmunds Chapel
