Margaret Bishop

     Services for Margaret E. Shoun Bishop, 66, of Middleton, who died Thursday, May 2, in Caldwell, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     The Rev. Dick Shaw of the First Baptist Church, Caldwell, will officiate.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Bishop was born May 4, 1918, in Watauga County, N.C., to Don and Addie Mast.  She was reared and educated in Tennessee and married Claude Shoun on Nov. 20, 1937, in Johnson County, Tenn.  The couple farmed there until moving to Middleton in 1954.  They owned and operated the Hub Cafe in Middleton until 1965 when they returned to Tennessee.
     They later moved to Caldwell where she worked as a ward clerk at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Shoun died April 26, 1073, in Caldwell.  She married Jesse Roy Bishop on April 4, 1979, in Elko, Nev.  Mr. Bishop died Dec. 27, 1979.  She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Tennessee.
     She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. David (Linda) Hardy of Bayfield, Colo.; three sisters, Frances Smith of Butler, Tenn., Irene Tolley of Unico County, Tenn., and Loudean Allen of Mountain City, Tenn.; three step-children, Wayne Bishop, Lester Bishop and Wanda Anthony; two grand-daughters, Lorey Alsup of Dexter, Mo., and Jennifer Comstock of Eureka, Mont.; and several step-children, nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters and two brothers.
     Friends may call Sunday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
