Mary Brenneman

     Services for Mary Ellen Brenneman, 73, Nampa, who died Sunday, Oct 27, at the Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at the Nampa First Mennonite Church with Pastor Robert E. Garber officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     Miss Brenneman was born March 15, 1912, at Kalona, Iowa, to Joe and Alice Swartzendruber Brenneman.  She was reared and educated in Kalona.  After her schooling she started housekeeping in the area.  She moved to Castleton
, N.D., in 1947.  In November of 1948, she moved to Nampa with her sister Ruth and her family.  While in Nampa she was a housekeeper and cared for elderly couples in the area for many years.  She retired in 1977 and had resided in Nampa since.
     She was a member of the Nampa
First Mennonite Church.
     She is survived by two sisters, Ruth P. Earnest of Nampa, and Mildred Hochstetler of Hamilton
, Mont.; one brother, Maynard Brenneman of Kalona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Eliza Ross.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the Nampa First Mennonite Church, 903 6th St. N., or flowers may be sent.
     Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
