Graveside
services for Marshall G. Dunham Sr., 85, of 2609 Sunnybrook
Dr., Nampa, who died Monday, May 14, at his home, will be
conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens.
Dr. John W. Wallace, pastor of the Nampa United Presbyterian
Church, will officiate.
Friends may meet at the cemetery. Services are under
the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mr. Dunham was born Oct. 19, 1898, in Denver, Colo. At
the age of 5, he moved with his family to Big Piney, Wyo.,
where eh was reared and educated. He served in the U.S.
Army during World War I.
Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Wyoming and
married Josephine B. Bentley on Jan. 1, 1922, in Daniel, Wyo.
Following their marriage, they made their home in Wyoming
until 1925, when they moved to Twin Falls where they farmed.
In 1939, they moved to Lakeview, Ore., where they farmed and
ranched.
In 1977, they moved to Nampa to make their home. He was
a lifetime member of the Presbyterian and was a member of the
Nampa United Presbyterian Church. He was also a member
of the American Legion and a past commander and was a member
of the War Eagle Barracks 459 Veterans of World War I.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; one son and
daughter-in-law, Daniel B. and Susan Dunham, Corvallis, Ore.;
two daughters and their husbands, Mrs. Robert (Barbara)
Stearman, Dugway, Utah, and Mrs. Warren (Joyce) Taylor, Oreana;
one brother, William Dunham, Gooding; one sister, Mrs. Lois
Hayden, Twin Falls; 11 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel until 9 tonight.
