Mac Casey

     Services for Mac H. Casey, 86, of 524 Nectarine St., Nampa, who died Monday, Feb. 13, at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
     Bishop Roger Kotter, Nampa Eighth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will officiate.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Mr. Casey was born Aug. 24, 1897, in Bountiful, Utah, a son of William and Eudora Gwynn Casey, and moved with his family to Malad, Idaho, in 1912 and completed his education there.  He worked on various cattle ranches in that area for a number of years.  He married Maude Goode there in 1927.  They were later divorced and he then moved to Boise.
     He married Geneva Marcella Helm Lovejoy on Nov. 4, 1941, at Rexburg and they made their home in Boise, Blackfoot, Salt Lake City and Winnemucca before coming to Nampa in 1943.  He worked many years here as a radio technician for Terry's Furniture and later operated his own shop known as Mac's Radio and Gun Shop.  In recent years he had worked in the Ballou-Latimer camera department before operating his own camera shop for a time.
     He was a member of the Nampa Eighth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
     He is survived by his wife, Geneva, of Nampa; one son, Thomas H. Casey, Butte, Montana; two step daughters, Joy Hill, Sunset, Utah and Verlene Alexander, Nampa; two grandchildren, Sherrie Ann Alexander and Lisa Marie Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.
     His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
     Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa until 9 p.m. today and until service time Friday.
