Mary Bobbink

     Services for May Maybelle Bobbink, 82, Caldwell, who died Wednesday, Sept. 25, at home of natural causes, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Pastor Dick Shaw of the First Baptist Church, Caldwell, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Bobbink was born Jan. 14, 1903, at Huron, S.D., a daughter of Charles and Agnes Gubkee Murray.  She married Lambert Bobbink on Jan. 14, 1927, at Timber Lake, S.D.  They were engaged in coal mining and farming in that area before moving to the Star-Middleton area in 1935, where they also engaged in farming.  They later retired and moved to Caldwell.  She was a member of numerous women's organizations and attended the Caldwell First Baptist Church.
     She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a daughter, Mary Bates of Caldwell; a sister, Marion Bower of Nampa; six grandchildren, Jerry Nicolls of Gulfport, Miss., Cyndi Snyder of Caldwell, Shelley Hustead of Electra, Texas, Tara Camiel of Bainbridge Isle, Wash., Shane Bates of Caldwell, and Kim McWaters of Meridian.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laural Louis Nicolls in 1954, and a brother, Clair Murray in 1964.
     Friends may call at the chapel today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the Caldwell First Baptist Church in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell, 83606.
