Mavis Dennis

      Graveside services for Mavis Dennis, 74, 1615 eighth St. S., Nampa, who died Saturday, June 2, at home, will be conducted l0:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Wilder Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Yarter, of the Golden Gate Baptist Church in Wilder, officiating. Services are under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel.
     Caldwell. Mrs. Dennis was born on Aug, 29, 1909, at Yellville, Ark., where she was reared and educated. She married Ollie Dennis Dec. 18, 1925, in Yellville, and they moved to Cleveland, Okla.
     They moved to Wilder in 1940 and Mr. Dennis died in March, 1964.  In 1975, she moved to Valley Plaza, Nampa, where she has since resided.  She also attended the Wilder Methodist Church.
     She is survived by two sons, L.C. Dennis, Florence, Ore., and Bob Dennis, Wilder; three daughters, Lucille Pierce, Boise, JoAnn Drew, Nampa, and Janice Pullman, Meridian; two brothers, Hugh Brightwell, Yellville, and Lawton Brightwell, Ontario, Ore.; one sister, Helen Bierer, Visalia, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
     In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
     Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Monday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
