Marjorie Carlson

Marjorie D. Carlson, 83, of Nampa, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1992, at a Nampa health-care center.  Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan 18, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  The Rev. Kenneth B. Britt of the First Christian Church, Nampa, will officiate.  Private family inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Carlson was born
Feb. 17, 1908, at Savannah, Mo., to Dennis and Margaret D. Elliott Carlson, and was raised and educated at Plattsburg, Mo.  She married Mitchel A. Carlson on Oct. 9 1944, at Wathena, Kan., and they lived at Cameron, Mo., until moving in 1957 to Basalt, Colo., where she was the housekeeping supervisor for the Aspen Inn for a number of years.  They moved to Nampa in 1976.  Mr. Carlson died Aug. 20, 1985.
     She was a member of the
Baptist Church.  She was also an avid lover of small animals.
     Survivors include one brother, Charles W. Golden of Palo Alto, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
