Services for Mary
Blanche Anderson, 92, of Nampa, who died Friday, Dec. 6, at
her home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the
Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with Rev. Joseph Housh, pastor of
the Nampa First United Methodist church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lower Boise Cemetery near Parma.
Mrs. Anderson was born on June 27, 1893, at Custer,
S.D., to John F. and Ada May Miller McClure. At a young
age she moved to Notus with her family, where she was reared
and educated. She married George William Anderson in
Notus. They lived in Glenns Ferry for several years.
In 1939, they moved to Nampa where she worked at the
old Mercy Hospital. She also worked for the Nampa
Irrigation Department. In 1961 she started selling for
Avon and was currently an Avon salesperson.
Mr. Anderson died and she has resided in Nampa since.
She was a member of the Glenns Ferry Order of the
Eastern Star and a member of the Avon President's Club.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lola Alice Moore of
Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two
sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Elks Rehabilitation
Hospital, 204 Fort Place, Boise, Idaho 83702, the Idaho Youth
Ranch, Box 534, Rupert, Idaho 83350, or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel until 9
tonight and Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to noon. |
