Naomi Adamson

     Naomi Adamson, 98, of Nampa, died on Friday, August 6, 1993 at a Nampa care center.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 10, 1993 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Rev. Kenneth B. Britt of the Christian Church will officiate.  Friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     Naomi Adamson was born Dec. 2, 1894 in Missouri.  At an early age she moved with her family to a cattle ranch in Kansas.  She was reared and educated in Kansas;  She married Paul Adamson on Oct. 25, 1916 at Girard, Kansas.  In 1938 they moved to Nampa where they made their home.  Paul preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1974.  Following the death of her husband she continued to make her home in Nampa.  Naomi was very skilled in hand painting of china and ceramics.  She was a member of the Nampa First Christian Church.
     Naomi is survived by 2 sons, Lawrence Adamson of Nampa and Ned and his wife Beatrice Adamson also of Nampa;  a daughter, Vada Sword, Nampa;  3 grandchildren, Donald Adamson of Arizona and Patricia Hubbel and Sandra Robison of California;  7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Adamson.  Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 1 to 9 PM and on Monday from 9 AM to 9 PM.
