Services for Ollie B.
Dennis, 60, of Wilder Route 2, who died Friday evening at his
home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tomorrow at the
Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. A. E. Gilbert of Wilder
will officiate. Interment will be at Wilder.
Mr. Dennis was born March 29, 1903, in Yelville, Ark., to Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Dennis and was reared in Arkansas. He married
Mavis Brightwell Dec. 18, 1925, near Yelville. The couple
lived in Cleveland, Okla., until 1940, when they move to
Wilder.
He farmed there until five years ago, when he was employed by
the board of control of the Bureau opf Reclamation.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, L. C. and Bob
Dennis, both of Wilder, and Mrs. Lucille Pierce, Boise; three
brother, Ben, Roswell, N.M., Robert, Caldwell, and Charlie
Dennis, Notus; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Slegle, Wilder, and Mrs.
Mattie Moore, Madras, Ore., and eight grandchildren. A
granddaughter preceded him in death. |
