Oliver Howard Eells,
90, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter in Oregon City,
Ore.
He was born April 2, 1869, in LeSueur, Minn., and was a
retired farmer. He moved to Kansas as a child and grew
up in that state and then homesteaded in Oklahoma. In
1891 he married May Dority. Mrs. Eells preceded him in
death. Mr. Eells moved to Idaho in 1906 and Nov. 3, 1910
married Martha Wallace. She died in 1943. He moved
to Madras, Ore., in 1947 and then to Oregon City where he made
his home with a daughter, Mrs. John Cunningham. He was a
member of the Followers of Christ Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ray of Oregon City and Carl
Eells of Albuqueraue; two daughters, Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs.
Ray Cepica, West Lynn, Ore.; one brother, John Eeells, Wilder;
13 grandchildren, and nieces and hephews, including Paul Eells,
Caldwell, and James Eells, Wilder.
Services will be conducted Sasturday at 10:30 a.m. at
Knowlton Heights with Elder Lee Gibson officiating. The
Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel is in charge. |
