Funeral services for Oneta Burman, 87, of Marsing, who died
Wednesday, June 29, 1994, at the home of her daughter in
Boise, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Bishop Tom Dorsey of
the Marsing LDS Church will officiate. Burial will follow at
the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell.
Mrs. Burman was born November 18, 1906, at Dingle,
Idaho, in the home where her mother was born, a daughter of
Henry and Jane Luella Davis Nowland. She was reared and
educated at Dingle and at the age of 15 she moved with her
family to Nampa. She married Wesley Leroy Burman on August
23, 1927, at Nampa and the couple lived in the Franklin
Community until moving to their home in Marsing in 1941. She
continued to reside in Marsing for over 53 years. Mr. Burman
died August 3, 1988.
She was a member of the Marsing LDS Church.
Survivors include two sons, Don and Dick Burman both of
Marsing; two daughters, Arlene Krause of Boise and Mary Jane
Percy of Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter-in-law, Mary Burman
of Homedale; a brother, Lloyd Nowland of Nampa; 8
grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren several step
grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one
grandson, one great-granddaughter and a son-in-law. |
