Funeral services for Ona Porter Kester, 79, of Caldwell, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, 1988 at her home of natural causes will be held at 1 ;.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, officiated by the Followers of Christ Church, Caldwell.  Burial will follow in the Knowlton Heights cemetery, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Kester was born April 28, 1909 at May, Idaho, the daughter of Andrew and Nellie Porter.  She married Ralph Kester Aug. 3, 1927.  Ralph Kester passed away Jan. 10, 1960.  She later married Joy Kester March 3, 1961.  Joy passed away Jan., 21, 1984.  She lived most of her life in the Middleton and Cambridge areas.  She was a member of the Followers of Christ Church.
     Survivor's include five sons, Lester and Van Kester both of Middleton, Lawrence, Melvin and Larry Kester all of Caldwell; four daughters, Clara Lacer, Of Grants Pass, Oregon, Vera Edde of Middleton, and Martha Evans, both of Caldwell; 67 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Lee, a daughter Betty Clampitt; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and great a great grandchild.
     Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
