Phoebe Jimi Aldrich,
80, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 3, 1992, at a Boise care
center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May
6, 192, at the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian. Rod
Medley, of the Jehovah's Witnesses Meridian Kingdom Hall will
officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
Jimi was born April 3, 1912, at Picabo, Idaho, a
daughter of John and Margaret Hollenbeck Carpenter. She
attended shcool in Nampa and married Kenneth Aldrich on July
3, 1929, at Caldwell. Jimi was a homemaker and devoted
herself to caring for her husband and family. She found
pleasure and relaxation in gardening and thoroughly enjoyed
her beautiful flowers.
Jimi was a member of the Meridian congregation of the
Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her husband,
Kenneth of Meridian; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth J.
and Marie Aldrich, of Nampa, and Steve and Norma Aldrich of
Meridian; 7 grandchildren, Ken, David, Terri, Debie,
Christine, Gayle and Janice; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Darlene and
Betty Jean, and 3 sisters.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today, May 5, at the
Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian. |
