Ruby Easley

Ruby A. Easley of Nampa and
formerly of Caldwell, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1993, at a Nampa
care center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 19, 1993 at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Dr. Larry Crist of the First Christian Church, Disciples of
Christ, Nampa, will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell, with rites by
Gem of the Mountains Rebekah Lodge #5, Caldwell.
Mrs. Easley was born Dec. 30, 1904 at Knox, Indiana, a
daughter of Frank and Elma Thomas Brown. She was reared and
educated in Indiana
and moved to Denver, Colo. at the age of 16. She married
Stephen B. Easley on June 1, 1940, at Golden, Colo. Ruby
worked for twenty years as a bookkeeper for the C.D. Smith
Drug Wholesale Co. in Grand Junction, Colo. In 1979 the couple
moved to Caldwell and Mr. Easley died in 1988. She had resided
in Nampa for the past few years.
Ruby was especially fond of her participation in the
Kitchen Band at the Heritage Retirement Center and was a
member of the Rebekah Lodge. |
