Services for Rickie Dee Acree, 28, of Middleton, formerly of
Nampa, who died Monday, Jan. 13, at home of natural causes,
will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral
The Rev. Leo W. Reed, pastor of the Nampa First Baptist
Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at the
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Acree was born June 28, 1957, to Theodore and Ruth
Daniel Acree at Nampa, where he was reared and educated.
In 1976, he entered the U.S. Navy. He was honorably
discharged in May of 1981.
He married Brenda Ross Feb. 29, 1980, in San Diego,
Calif., where he was stationed at the time. After his
discharge, he moved to Nampa. In November of 1985, they
moved to Nampa. In November of 1985, they moved to
Middleton, where they had since resided.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of Middleton; a
daughter, Stacey Acree, of Middleton; two stepdaughters,
Lisa and Natasha Ross, both of home; a stepson, Matthew
Ross, at home; his father of Boise; his mother,
Ruth Widmark of Boise; a brother, Jonnie Acree of Idaho
Falls, two sisters, Dorinda Hall of Belgrade, Mont., and
Pandora Richardson of Nampa; his grandparents, Margaret
Russell of Nampa and Mr. and Mrs. John Acree of Nampa;
and sever nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today
until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
