Roy E. Bosley

     NAMPA - Graveside funeral services for Roy E. Bosley, 83, of 105 Owyhee St., who died Wednesday at a Nampa hospital following a short illness, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
     Dr. Newell Morgan, pastor of the Boise First Christian Church, will officiate.  The cortege will leave the Alsip Funeral Chapel at 10:15 a.m.
     Mr. Bosley was born Oct. 24, 1888, at Spiggard, MO.  He was reared in Missouri and at Monte Vista, Colo.  He was married to Agnes Woning on Dec. 12, 1921 at Cheyenne, Wyo.  Mr. Bosley worked for the railroad for 35 years, retiring from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1950, as assistant yardmaster, at Chey(e)nne, Wyo.  They came to Nampa in 1950, and he was engaged in farming since that time.
     He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a member of the V.F.W. Post, a member of the American Legion Post, and a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge, all at Cheyenne, Wyo.  He was also a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Lodge N. 288.  Mr. Bosley served with the U.S. Army, during World War I.
     He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes G. Bosley of Nampa;  two daughters, Miss Sharon K. Bosley of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Isabelle M. Crooks of Seattle, Wash.;  one son, Roy E. Bosley, Jr., of Caldwell;  one sister, Coy Norris of Carlisle, Iowa;  and by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
     The family suggests memorial contributions to the Idaho Youth Ranch, at Rupert, or flowers may be sent.
