Ruth E. Tucker

    CALDWELL - Services for Ruth E. Tucker, 79, Caldwell Route 2, who died Tuesday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenleaf Friends Church by Pastor Paul Goins and Leland Hibbs.
    Interment will be at Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    She was born on April 5, 1896, in LeGrand, Iowa, and came to Boise Valley with her family at the age of 10. She graduated from Greenleaf grade school and Greenleaf Academy. She married Guy Tucker on Jan. 17, 1917, in Greenleaf. They had since resided in the Greenleaf area. Mr. Tucker died on May 1, 1968.
    She was a member of the Greenleaf Friends Church, the WCTU, of which she was past president, and the Missionary Women's Society.
Surviving are a son, Lilburn W. Tucker, Meridian; a daughter Hazel Tucker, Greenleaf; and two grandchildren, Charles and Mona Tucker, Meridian. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
    Memorials may be made to the Greenleaf Friends Academy or the Greenleaf Friends Church building fund.
