Robert Birch

     Funeral services for Robert G. Birch, 51, of Greenleaf, who died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1992, at a Nampa hospital will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Sept.28, 1992, at the Greenleaf Friends Church.  Reverend Dorwin Smith and Pastor John Seyler will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     Bob was born March 22, 1941 at Weed, California, a son of Arthur G. and Pearl Beeson Birch.  He was reared and educated in Caldwell and graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy in 1960.  Following graduation he worked at a truck driver for Dairyman's Creamery and later at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise as an orderly.  He worked for Fleetwood Inc., from 1965 until 1968 when he began work at Kit Manufacturing as a leadman and later as dispatcher.
     He married Patricia Snyder on October 8, 1970, in Caldwell and the couple have resided in Greenleaf for the past several years.  Bob loved the out-of-doors which he enjoyed with his family.
     He was a member of the Ustick Nazarene Church.
     He is survived by his wife Patti of Greenleaf; two sons Rodney attending Vennard College in University Park, Iowa, and Dewayne of Greenleaf; his parents Arthur and Pearl Birch of Caldwell; two sisters including his twin sister Mrs. Mike (Roberta) Stewart of Caldwell and Mrs. Steve (Judi) Magee of Nampa, one niece and two nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
     Memorials may be given to the Greenleaf Friends Academy.
     Friends may call today from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
