Ruth Dike

    Graveside services for Ruth Dike, 69, Marsing, Route l,  who died Friday at home of natural causes will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens by Father Mel Sprute of St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
    Mrs. Dike was born May 5, 1912 at Caldwell.  She was reared and educated in Wilder.  She married Robert Scott in 1929. They lived in Wilder for several years before moving to Rupert. They also lived in Marsing.  Scott died in 1951.
    She married Dean Dike in 1960 at Winnemucca, Nev.  They lived in Nampa and Lewiston before returning to Marsing in 1978. Dike died in March of 1979.  
    She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rae Bevan, Hermiston, Ore., and Frankie Muldoon, Twin Falls; two brothers, Pat Brown, Hillsboro, Ore., and Bud Brown, Pasco, Wash.; a sister, Marguerite Siebert, Portland; eight grand-children, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one step-son, a step daughter, two brothers, and a sister. Friends may call Monday from 3 until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon.
