Memorial services for Ruth M. Peterson Cash, 84 of 126 Fourth
Rd. N., Nampa, who died Saturday, March 24, at a Nampa nursing
home, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Building
of Reverence, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
The Rev. Joseph Housh of the Nampa First United
Methodist Church, will officiate, under the direction of
Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
She was born April, 19, 1899, in Polk County, Neb., a
daughter of Frank O. and Anna Sandall Anderson, and was reared
and attended schools there.
She married William Swan Peterson in 1920 in Nebraska
and they made their home at Big Springs, Neb., and later at
St. Paul, Neb., before moving to the Nampa area in 1937.
Mr. Peterson died August 6, 1960.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
Nampa, and of the United Methodist Women. In recent
years she was active in the ECHO phone program for senior
citizens.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Peterson, Meridian,
and Gene S. Peterson, Nampa; one daughter, Marilyn L. Larkin,
Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son,
seven brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor
Institute, Boise, or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa
from noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and until 2:30 p.m. on
Wednesday. |
