Reuben Anderson

     Services for Reuben E. Anderson, 88, of Caldwell Route 6, who died Thursday, April 28, at home of natural causes, will be conducted at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Pastor Jerry Reed of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, Caldwell, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
     Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden, Caldwell.
     He was born Fe. 22, 1895, at Swedehome, Neb.  He served in WWI from 1917 to 1919 in France.  He was discharged in Iowa.  He married Laura Johns on Aug. 11, 1921, at Lamar, Colo.  They homesteaded and Lived at McClave, Colo.  In 1936, they moved to Caldwell where he farmed for 47 years, and held many offices He attended the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church.
     He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; three daughters, Irene Anderson of Bothel, Wash., Grace McClaskey of Caldwell, and Betty Kirkpatrick of Dubois, Idaho; one sister, Ruth Broughton of St. George, Kan.; seven Grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
     Memorials may be made to the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church.
