Funeral services for Stephen
B. Easley, 84, of Caldwell, who died Friday, March 18, 1988 at
a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday,
March 24, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Lodge rites
will be given by the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 10, Caldwell.
Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Mr. Easley was born June 1, 1903
at Golden, Colo., the oldest of eight children born to Charles
and Alice Bryant Easley. He lived in Golden until 1947 when he
moved to Grand Junction, Colo., where he resided until 1979
when he moved to Caldwell. He was a member of the Baptist
Church and was a 49-year- member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Ruby of Caldwell; three
daughters, Sandra Silcox of Salt Lake City, Utah, Marjorie
Pulley of Caldwell and Virginia Zaring of Colfax, Wash.; a
son, Stephen C. Easley of Yakima, Wash.; three sisters,
Charlene Schweissing of Brighton, Colo.; Vera Forbes of
Laramie, Wyo., and Leona English of Helena, Mont.; a brother,
Elwood English of Terra Bella, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents,
a sister and three brothers.
