CALDWELL –
Services for Theron F. Lafferty, 85, of 3408 E. Cleveland
Blvd., Caldwell, who died Thursday at a Caldwell hospital,
will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dakan Chapel by the
Rev. Charles Crane, Caldwell First Christian Church.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born Feb. 12, 1893, at Farragut,
Iowa, and moved to
Caldwell in 1908. He attended Caldwell schools and joined the
Army after graduating from high school. He served in France
during World War 1. He married Ruth Oliver April 18, 1920, at
Caldwell.
He was a member of Mount Moriahs Lodge No. 39, AF&AM, and
the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife of Caldwell; two brothers, George
of Portland, and James of Burbank, Calif.; and a sister, Ada
Joiner of Anaheim, Calif.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children’s
Hospital. |
