Vita Brown

     Vita Mae Brown, 93, of Riverside, California, formerly of Nampa, passed away Aug. 10, 1995, in a Riverside care center.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1995 at Hillcrest Memorial gardens.  Bill Free of the Caldwell Church of Christ will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     Vita was born May 27, 1902, in Lowry, Arkansas, where she was raised.  She married Jess Brown in 1925 in cedar Creek
, Missouri.  In 1936, they moved to Idaho and farmed near Caldwell until they retired in 1969 and then moved to Nampa.  After the death of her beloved husband, Jess, in 1979, she continued to live in Nampa until her move to California in 1984.
     She is survived by one son, Dean of Murrieta, CA, one daughter, Betty Morse of pacific City, or, one sister, Helen Albright of Medford, OR; three brothers, Fred Richesin of Omaha, Ark., Bob Richesin of Nyssa, OR, and Guy Richesin of Fresno, CA; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
     She is preceded in death by five brothers.
     Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Alsip Funeral Chapel.
