Graveside
services for Verda Mae Dunn, 81, of Caldwell, who died
Tuesday, Dept. 25, in a Caldwell nursing home, will be at 11
a.m. Friday at the Parma Cemetery, Parma.
The Rev. John Sinclair of the First Christian Church,
Caldwell, will officiate, under the direction of Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Friends may meet at the chapel at 10:30 a.m., or at the
cemetery.
Mrs. Dunn was born March 9, 1903, at Doeville, Tenn., a
daughter of William F. and Biner Slurgion Proffitt. She
was reared and educated in Tennessee. She married
Willard G. Dunn July 6, 1924, at Mountain City, Tenn.
They moved to Idaho in the 1930s and settled in Caldwell,
where they had since resided.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Caldwell.
She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a son, John E.
Dunn of Oklahoma; a daughter, Mrs. James (Veda) Kremer of
Caldwell; two half-brothers, six half sisters, 11
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a
sister, two sons, and five infant children.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 10th and
Everett Streets, Caldwell, or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Chapel in Caldwell, from 1
until 8 tonight. |
