Memorial services for
Vince Blecha, 83, of Nampa, who was fatally injured in an
automobile accident near Nampa Friday evening, April, 1991,
will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Alsip
Funeral Chapel, Nampa. The Nampa Elks Lodge No. 1389
will officiate.
Vince Blecha was born Oct. 6, 1907, at Frank, Alberta,
Canada, where he was reared and educated. He married
Rose Brandeis May 16, 1934, in Canada. Following their
marriage they made their home at Nampa. In 1934 they
opened the Ideal Food Store which they owned and operated
until retirement in 1973. Vince was a 50-year member of
the Nampa Elks Lodge No. 1389.
Vince is survived by his wife, Rose Blecha, Nampa; a
son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Jean Blecha, Ridgecrest,
Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Blanche and Steve Norell,
Milwaukie, Ore.; four brothers, Anton, Joe and Frank Blecha,
all of Nampa, and Jerry Blecha, Seattle, Wash.; seven
grandsons, Bryan Blecha, Kevin and his wife, Anne Marie Blecha,
Kyle Blecha, Todd Blecha, Scott and his wife, Lisa Norell, and
Bob and BJ Norell.
Vince was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosie and
Mary.
The family suggests memorials be made to Mercy Medical
Center, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa 83686; or to the American
Cancer Society, 1526 Ventura Drive, Nampa 83686. |
