Rosary devotions for
Vincente Amador, 74, of Parma, who died Thursday, June 7,
1990, at the Caldwell hospital, will be recited at 7 p.m.
Sunday, June 10, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Monday, June 11, at the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary
Catholic Church, Parma, with Father Sean Caulfield as
celebrant. Burial will follow at the Parma Cemetery,
Parma.
Mr. Amador was born Jan. 23, 1916, at Reo Grande City,
Texas, a son of Viviano and Vicenta Garcia Amador. He
was reared and educated in Rio Grande City. He married
Carolina Guerrero on Sept. 14, 1940, in Karnes City, Texas.
The couple lived in Texas until 1961 when they moved to Idaho.
He worked for American Fine Foods and Amalgamated Sugar
Company in Nyssa, Ore., until his retirement in 1974.
He was a member of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary
Catholic Church in Parma.
He is survived by; his wife of Parma; five daughters,
Amelia Amador and Mrs. Cruz (Angelita) Banda, both of Parma,
Mrs. Fred (Anna) Ramirez of Vale, Ore., Aurora Davis and Mrs.
John (Armandima) Ortivez, both of Caldwell; a son, Robert A.
Amador of Nampa; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren
and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents, two sons, a daughter, two brothers and
two sisters.
Memorials may be given to the Sacred Hears of Jesus and
Mary Catholic Church, Parma.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until Rosary time today at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. |
