William
A. Gehr |
William A. Gehr, 77, of Wilder, died Thursday at his home. He
was born, June 4, 1886, in Indiana.
He grew up in Indiana and moved to Washington state in
1906, where he settled in Coulee City. He married Anna
Anderson Sept. 22, 1910, in Washington.
They moved to North Idaho in 1921. In 1928 they moved
to the Boise Valley and moved to Colorado for a short time,
returning to Nyssa, Ore., in 1930. They lived in the Snake
River Valley until 1943. They moved to Herlong, Calif., where
they lived until 1945, when they moved to Wilder.
At the time of his death he was police judge at Wilder.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, William P., Eagle, and Robert E.
Roseville, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Ed Rau, Quincy,
Wash., Mrs. Robert W. Walker, Arvada, Colo., and Mrs. Donald
Ginther, Minturn, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren.
Services are pending at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel. |
