William F. Cluff
Memorial services for
William Ferrel Cluff, 26, Caldwell Route 1, will be held at 2
p.m. Monday at the Middleton Ward Chapel LDS Church.
Bishop Ross W. Hanson will officiate. The family
requests that only living flowers for the Chapel be
contributed in memory of Mr. Cluff.
Mr. Cluff was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Woodruff, Utah,
and lost his life in a plane which crashed into the Salmon
river Wednesday. He was a duster pilot for Flight
Service, Caldwell, and, with Vernon Park, McCall, was seeking
to recover another plane that had crashed on Mackay Bar when
the fatal accident occurred. He was a member of the
Middleton Ward LDS Church.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cluff,
Caldwell, Rt. 1, five brothers, David, Thomas, Benjamin, and
Stephen, of the home, Ralph, Logan, Utah, and Harold, with the
USAF in Texas, and one sister, Joy Cluff, at home; his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin P . Ferrell, Middleton,
and his grandmother, Mrs. Melvina Moyle Cluff, Heber City,
