William H. Best

    CALDWELL - Graveside services for William H. Bet, 84, Caldwell Route 2, who died Tuesday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Karcher Road at 3:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Joe Wiens of the First Baptist Church.
    Interment will be directed by Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  The cortege will leave the chapel at 3:15 p.m. Friday.
    Mr. Best was born on Aug. 23, 1889, in Whitewood, S.D., and lived in Nebraska and Wyoming before moving to Idaho.  He married Elsie M. Clayd on Feb. 17, 1915, in Pine Bluffs, Wyo.  They came to Idaho in Pleasant Ridge Community west of Caldwell.
    He was a member of Modern Woodmen of the World Camp No. 5367 and Canyon County No. 877.
    Suriving are five daughters, Lena Stradley, George, Wash., Wilma Lukes, San Bernadino, Calif., Hazel Young and Lavena Calson, both of Caldwell, and Helen Harrold, Parma; a son, Orman Best (remainder of obituary missing on this card)
